Snapshots From...Pamplona

Sunday, February 07, 2016

Until this past October, almost everything I knew of Pamplona could be attributed to Ernest Hemingway - reading his books, I had pictured a city made up of beautiful buildings and narrow streets full of music and art. The real thing was all that and more.

I had only a little over two hours to spend here, so after a quick, very delicious lunch at a little roadside cafe called Al Norte del Sur, I set off in search of the famous cathedral of Pamplona. I managed to snap a few photographs along the way, but not nearly enough.

If I could, I'd go back in a heartbeat.
